We run a "Safe" home for so many abandoned Cats over the years...

         Right now we have 9

Some are looking for a "real" LOVING home can you help?

If you want true love, laughter, Enjoyment & Companionship in your life, one of these cuties could be the ticket.

We prefer that you live close enough to come visit and if all goes well, be able to take one home with you. I will NOT ship any of our furry friends.

If you love cats but for some reason you can't provide a loving home, we can sure use any Purina cat food or $$ for food.

Our average monthly food bill for these furry guys averages $170.00 per month, just for the bare necessities.

Please email me, see my contact page to make arrangements to come and visit them, we are in Twin Falls, Idaho

If you can help Contribute to our cause with any sized donation, my Paypal account is: [email protected]

From our "Furry Friends"  to you  -  THANK YOU!

MANY MANY THANKS TO THOSE AWESOME PEOPLE
WHOM HAVE DONATED TOWARDS FOOD COSTS
IT IS SO APPRECIATED !!!!!

What a life!

Oliver (on top) & Alex on the bottom

Picture

Oliver was one lucky boy - he was adopted into a very loving home.

THANKS  to Kylie & Rob for adopting Oliver

& THANKS to Kathy & Jerry for adopting Alex!!!

Spits   AKA: Spitty

Picture
Loves to play "catch" & fetch balls. He's an athletic boy.

He's a real love bug!

He is neutered.

Would LOVE to find a LOVING  one only cat home. He doesn't like to share his time....

Kitten Gretchen

Picture
Was rescued but very close to death (with in 36 hours!)

She is stunted in growth & is now one of our  permanent house guest.

Our bottle baby - Dutchess

Picture
Husband rescued this little girl as a kitten from the trash.
She was only about 3 weeks old & had to be bottle fed.

Our THANKS to Kristina for adopting this "special" gal!

Buddy

Picture
Found starving & with a tiny halter on that was way too small for his growing body, and it was cutting into his skin. A good reason to NEVER let a cat out wearing a harness OR collar!

After 4 months work I was finally able to get close enough & win his trust to get the harness off. We estimate him to be an older boy..

Because of this he is a stunted small male. We had him neutered. He wants out during the day but in at night. He loves to be pampered & loved.

He NEEDS a LOVING permanent HOME!

Alex & Gretchen

Picture
Alex took up the job of taking care of Gretchen when she was so vulnerable & sick.

They are now buds!

Our inseparably "boys"

Picture
These are the youngest cats we have right now.

This picture features "Spike in the front & "Cisco" in the back.

They have been raised together & MUST be adopted together!

See other pics of current pics of each.

Missy - Passed away...... Recently diagnosed with Gastrointestinal Lymphoma - Cancer  February 2015
We now have her on Medicine's that she will take until she passes on.

Picture
Was adopted by my husband 15 years ago
through "Happy Tails".

She is a permanent
resident.

Big John

Picture
This little guy had the biggest paws I have ever seen on a kitten....

He was adopted out 3 years ago!

THANKS!!!

Spike & Cisco

The "BOYS"

Noel    2002 -  September 23, 2015

Picture
A Christmas gift to me from my brother & his wife in 2002.

She was a loving girl with a heart of gold.

God bless you Noel, you are missed so much.

Rusty

Picture
One of Sammy's kittens
this was Rusty ~ got adopted out!

THANK YOU
Rob & Kylie !

Cisco

Picture
One part of the "Boys"

Named after the 50's TV star "Cisco the Kid"
Why - because he is an "adventurer"  & always wanting to investigate & play!
He is a neutered male & he's still growing.

These brother's were raised together & MUST remain together!

Jazz  -  Passed on years ago

Picture
She is a VERY needy
girl and I don't have enough time to cuddle & love on her as much as she wants.
As her name imply's she a wiry thing & does love to play.

Spike

Picture
The other part of the "Boys"

Names after his "always" erect tail being up!.
He reminds me of a meer cat with his tail  "always" up.
He's  "good" sized & still growing!
He is a neutered male.
Like his brother Cisco they are very loving BUT love to ruff house play!

These brother's were raised together & MUST remain together!

Peaches
Picture
This is Peaches a new member of our family.

She was abandoned in our neighborhood.

She is as sweet as honey, and soft as a bunny.

Hefer

Picture
Another new arrival whom was abandoned.

This is one big guy & he eats like a cow (hence his name).

Non combative easy going love bug!

Muffin

Picture
Another abandoned cat that found a new home here.

She lost her tail long ago, but have a plus personality.

Loves to play & ride on your shoulder.

Stash

Picture
When we moved into our home there were 2 abandoned cats left behind!
This is Stash - he LOVES to be a lap cat.
He likes to plays with toys and is appreciative.

He has been nutered..

HE IS IN NEED OF A LOVING PERMANENT HOME!

CALLY

Picture
When we moved into our home there were 2 abandoned cats left behind!
This is Cally - she will needs someone that has NO others felines
or to be adopted out with Stash whom she is use to.

She need someone patient to work with her. She likes to be loved on, but isn't sure about being picked up. We work on this, but with so many it's hard. She likes toys & likes scratcher pads. She is a spayed female.

We believe she was both inside & outside, as she likes both.

SHE IS IN NEED OF A LOVING PERMANENT HOME!

Did you know...
It's been our experience over the years that.....

Cats are really "Aliens" in disguise? Well in a lot of ways they are if you think about it.

We call them "Hairy Aliens".

First off they seems to come complete with a built in language "translator" for the English language.
You usually only have to tell a cat once what an item's name is ie: food, outside, toy, their name, etc. and the translator in them works very well, they remember VERY fast!

Cats have the mentality of a 5 year old child. (And we all know a 5 year old child is VERY smart!)
If you treat your cats like you would a human child, you won't believe the difference. Talking to them as if they are a child can make a world of difference. They respond to you as a mute child would.

Cats are like elephants... they don't forget. If they have a bad encounter at an early age, it will stick with them for the rest of their lives. So PLEASE be kind to your kitten the results will bring you MUCH happiness in the years to come!

They also are like humans, when it come to getting "revenge". Be kind and they will trust you forever. Hurt them, and it will take a LONG time before you can regain their trust in you.

The easiest way to tell if you cat is Hot or Cold is to feel their ear tips. Just use your thumb and first finger and lightly hold the tip of an ear for just a second. You will be very surprised!

If you provide a cat with a "nest", they will ADORE you! A nest consists of two bath towels. One is left folded as a base for them to lie down on, The other one you long fold to wrap around their body. It's the simplest way to make your cat VERY happy.

Cats can catch your sickness...so "try" not to pet them when your sick, unless you WASH your hands before cuddling or petting them!

Cats learn fast. It only takes a couple of times before they get it.

Cats will learn a whistle call (even if outside) and come a running! Just petting, talking to them when they come, goes a LONG way with them.

Use a squirt bottle to curb indoor problems. After the second time, usually just shaking the bottle will command their respect.

Cats love to be talked to, just like people like to communicate together. Treat them like a child and you just might find a new level of understanding between you both.

HUGS to you & your Hairy Alien!
